Session

Monday, 11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Expanded Gamut Separation the Right Way

Expanded gamut has many benefits, including the ability to print more in-gamut spot colors, a reduction in the need for spot color plates and ink, and—of course—more colorful graphics! But how do you “get there” and properly specify and handle a file for expanded gamut printing? During this session, Birgit Plautz will guide you through the necessary steps to convert a file from RGB to an extended color gamut while achieving consistent, accurate color results. In addition, examples will be provided that show files processed through at least two different print production workflows.
