Kevin O’Connor has been a photographer for more than 40 years, a graphic designer for more than 30 years, and a specialist in publishing workflows and color reproduction for more than 20 years, long before it became fashionable (something he’s rarely accused of being).

He has given workshops and classes in more than a dozen countries and 50 American cities for various companies, consults to various corporate and private clients, and works hard at knowing the easiest way to do things in the digital world. A self-described “lazy man,” he delights in sharing the knowledge he’s gained so that other people can spend less time working and more time living.

Managing Color with Apple’s New Colorspace

Apple has moved all of its devices away from their previous default color space, sRGB. Apple devices now use an uncommon new color space with a much larger gamut—introducing a new set of possibilities—and significant potential color headaches. In this session, Kevin O’Connor will show you how to update your color workflow to take full advantage Apple’s new color space while correctly managing legacy content and devices.
